Dr Madeleine Cooke completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2006, after completing her clinical school years at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She then moved back to her home state of Queensland to complete her internship and residency. Knowing very early on in her medical career that she wanted to practice in women's healthcare, she once again went to Melbourne so she could gain skills at one of the largest tertiary women's hospitals in Australia, the Royal Women's. This is where she was accepted onto her specialist training program.
