North West Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical, obstetric and medical hospital situated 20 minutes north west of the Brisbane CBD. The Hospital has 91 beds including 3 operating theatres, 2 day surgery theatres, 2 dermatology procedure rooms, a day oncology unit and a maternity unit with a Level 2 special care nursery.  The hospital has recently undergone major redevelopment which has added new theatres, carparking and consulting suites to our campus.  A new accommodation wing is currently under construction and due to open in late 2010.

North West is an acute care hospital committed to providing the highest standards of specialised services, skilled personnel and sophisticated technologies. The hospital boasts many leading specialists consulting in most major disciplines, and many of these specialists are conveniently located in consulting rooms in or adjacent to the hospital. North West Private Hospital is certified to ISO 9001:2008.

North West Private Hospital is a preferred – Tier 1 Department of Veterans’ Affairs accredited hospital which allows veterans to have immediate access to the facilities without, in most cases, the need for prior approval.

The Hospital prides itself on being an integral part of the North Brisbane community and is proud of its history in obstetrics and women’s health being the only private obstetric unit on the northside of Brisbane.  North West Private offers services and amenities reflective of community expectations, whilst always striving to meet the growing needs of the individuals and families in Brisbane’s North.

North West has experienced Resident Medical Staff employed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the work of the specialists and provide additional care to patients.
