North West Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical, obstetric and medical hospital situated 20 minutes north west of the Brisbane CBD. The Hospital has 91 beds including 3 operating theatres, 2 day surgery theatres, 2 dermatology procedure rooms, a day oncology unit and a maternity unit with a Level 2 special care nursery.

We are an acute care hospital committed to providing the highest standards of specialised services, skilled personnel and sophisticated technologies. North West has many leading Specialists consulting in most major disciplines, providing an enviable level of medical experience, conveniently located within a group of consulting rooms at the Hospital and in the Medical Centre next door to the Hospital.

Recently North West Private Hospital became a Preferred – Tier 1 Department of Veterans Affairs accredited hospital which allows Veterans to have immediate access to the facilities without, in most cases, the need for prior approval.

North West Private Hospital prides itself on being an integral part of the North Brisbane community. We do have a women’s health focus and are the only private obstetric unit on the northside of Brisbane. We offer services and amenities reflective of community expectations, whilst always striving to meet the growing needs of the individuals and families in Brisbane’s North.

North West has experienced Resident Medical Staff employed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the work of the specialists and provide additional care to patients.
