Minderoo Foundation has partnered with TED to showcase Thrive by Five’s global mission to raise awareness of the importance of the first five years of a child’s brain development.
The TED talk was shown in pre-launch trials to new parents at Glengarry Private Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus in WA, as well as three maternity hospitals in Kabul, Afghanistan.
In the video, seven-year-old Molly makes a captivating pitch to parents, grandparents, caregivers and the wider community to engage more meaningfully and often with children in order to promote their brain development and set them up for life.
