Maternity Tours
Maternity Tours are conducted every Saturday (Group tours) between 11am-12pm. No pre-booking necessary, please present to D Ward Maternity, and one of our Midwives will conduct the tour and answer any questions you have.
Antenatal Classes
Preparing for the arrival of your baby is an exciting time, and our face-to-face antenatal classes are designed to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to approach birth and early parenthood with confidence.
We offer two tailored classes:

- Admission to a chosen class for you and one support person

- Resources and take-home materials
- Complimentary onsite parking
When to book
To secure your place, we recommend booking your antenatal class midway through pregnancy. The ideal time to attend is from 28 weeks gestation onwards, ensuring you retain the information for your upcoming birth.
Class numbers are limited to maintain a relaxed and personalised learning environment.
How to book
To book a class, you must first submit your maternity online admission booking form. We are unable to accept class bookings until your admission details have been received.

Where are the classes?
Classes are face-to-face, and held in the Education room in the Executive building at North West Private Hospital. Click here for a map.
Payment information
Please call Maternity Reception on 3353 7825 (8am-3pm) to make a credit card payment for the classes. Depending on your health fund, you may incur an out-of-pocket fee. Please liaise with your health fund directly to determine if you are eligible for a benefit.
Payment is required to secure your place in the class, and must be received prior (a minimum of one week) to the commencement of the class. Please note that when you register, the booking is per couple (2 people). For any urgent enquires, please phone Maternity Reception.
Please note that these sessions are for North West Private Hospital patients only. We cannot accept bookings from patients who are not booked at North West Private Hospital.
