North West Private Hospital Visiting Hours

When you visit our hospital, you’ll need to use the state government check-in app. Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation in Australia, we also recommend checking if any visitor restrictions are in place before coming to hospital. You can do this by calling us or checking our COVID-19 information page.

Information for visitors

We understand many people will want to visit their loves ones in hospital, however we need to make sure we are doing everything we can to protect our patients and health care workers.

Exceptions to the no visitor rule will be made on a case-by-case basis. Patients who are children will be allowed one parent/carer and maternity patients will be allowed one support person.

We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your support as we navigate through this time together.

All patients, staff and approved visitors will now be required to wear a mask entering the hospital and must wear it when in public areas of the hospital. Everyone who enters the hospital  must undergo temperature screening and complete electronic screening via the QR code scanning system on entry. If patients do not have a smartphone to complete this scanning process, staff on the door will be able to assist them manually by asking them a series of questions.

Daily from 3pm – 8pm (strictly enforced)
Partners only are welcome to visit at any time. All other visitors are asked to respect the Mother’s rest period and family bonding time and observe the visiting hours.

General Wards:

Daily from 10am – 1pm and 3pm – 8pm
Members of your immediate family are allowed to visit anytime, however, all other visitors are asked to observe the visiting hours.

Should you not wish to have visitors or phone calls, please inform the Clinical Unit Manager or the Nurse looking after you.
