Dr Basil Almehdawy

Dr Basil Almehdawy is a Queensland trained Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist. He finished an Advanced Luminal endoscopy fellowship at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, focusing on advanced polypectomy, small bowel endoscopy (balloon assisted enteroscopy and video capsule endoscopy) and gastro-luminal stricture management. Basil is committed to providing high quality care for a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, with an interest in therapeutic Endoscopy, colon cancer screening and prevention, obscure gastrointestinal bleeding and unexplained iron deficiency anemia management.
