Dr Ritesh Chatrapati graduated from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India in 2003. Before he commenced haematological training, he undertook Physician training in the UK and Australia. He has diagnostic experience in the diagnosis of Leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, stem cell transplantation, bleeding disorders and thrombosis. He has a dual fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. In addition to this Dr Chatrapati has membership in the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group, American Society of Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Chatrapati undertook his clinical and laboratory haematology training at Cairns Base Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. He likes to work closely with regional and national experts to gain access to clinical trials for his patients. He strongly advocates participation in haematology research and has published peer-reviewed journals. Dr Chatripati works closely with his patients and their family members, other specialists and general practitoners to provide holistic and all-inclusive care.
