Dr Mark Dekkers is a local UQ graduate who completed his Orthopaedic training in Queensland in 2001. He completed specialist training in knee surgery in the UK and Europe with advanced training in Joint Replacement, knee reconstruction and cartilage repair surgery (including cartilage implantation).
Dr Dekkers is committed to the management of acute knee injuries which is supported by the introduction of an Acute Knee clinic that runs weekly at both North West Private Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital.
His rooms are located at Greenslopes Private Hospital and consults weekly at North West Private Hospital. He has a public appointment as the Deputy Director of Orthopaedics at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
