Consultant Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine Physician who provides an individualised rehabilitation plan for patients. Dr. George has experience with all areas of rehabilitation including stroke rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, orthogeriatric rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, amputee rehabilitation, brain and spinal injury rehabilitation, pain rehabilitation, and reconditioning. She is an Australian trained doctor who gained experience during her initial years of practice at Mackay Base Hospital and Rockhampton Base Hospital. Dr. George undertook advanced training at several hospitals in Brisbane, including The Prince Charles Hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, and the Tess Cramond Pain and Research Centre at STARS. She also plays an active role in research and education and is the Co-chair for the Queensland Clinical Network Community Special Interest Group and a senior lecturer with the School of Medicine University of Queensland.
